Maybe I missed the boat on this one a while ago, but I’ve just discovered Fontstruct; and at a quick glance it looks AWESOME.
Not only does it seem to have an ituitive interface, but a great social component for sharing and feedback.

Using cartography, art history and historical documents, this presents a facinating travel back in time of what our capital looked like 200 years ago. Great piece of info visualization and realization.
Enduring logo design for MIT Media Lab - 40,000 variations. At first I questioned the success of this based on the standard rules of pure brand recognition, but after watching it action and application, I think its pure genius.
Will be interesting to see if this becomes a trend; while other brands evolve over time, I’ve not seen one do so as it primary directive.
